How to improve sex drive

I’d never normally ask this question but I know myself I’m less interested in sex now than previously! Been in a relationship for around 9 years, happy in the relationship etc I just don’t feel like sex as much as I used to but I want to change that! Any tips?! How often is ‘normal’ to have sex in a long term relationship?

There is no normal. But its totally common to lose interest in sex in a long term relationship. Apparently women lose interest sooner. There's a book, mating in captivity, that might be worth a read.

Often the stability of a relationship is at odds with what creates desire.

Well, from your post you've put it all on yourself. Is it? What else has changed?

There’s no normal, and there’s no need to increase it if you’re both happy with how things are now.

It’s pretty normal in long term relationships. Only tip I’ve got is check your contraceptives - the mini pill killed my libido!
