'Busy' music
cerealatmidnight · 14/09/2022 06:54
If I have a really big task that I need to do quickly I always 'play' the same song in my head. It's 'don't nobody want none' by Tech N9ne. Genuinely helps me to do the task quicker.
Anyone else?

Roundabout about by Yes. Years old but always gets me moving.
In a similar vein, I always have to watch my speed when driving, listening to certain music.
The William Tell Overture always results in me putting my foot down!
Also Liberty Song by the Levellers.

@Giggorata yep. Mines Enter Sandman by Metallica.

Annoyingly when I used to try to flirt I'd always get 'let's get it on' by Marvin Gaye in my head as if something inside me was telling me how cringe the whole thing was.

That's brilliant 😂
My 'busy' song is 'pump up the jam' by Technotronic

I'm making a playlist now of all the suggestions

Niche, but "Parlay" from the pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack 🤷🏼♀️
It's about 50 seconds long, and I once wrote an entire 5000-word essay listening exclusively to it 😂

Haha, I love this! In a way I'm surprised it's not something I already do.

I worked with a woman who, when having to concentrate, would sing the theme from the movie "The Quiet Man" with John Wayne to herself. No words, just the tune.
