Constant noisy neighbour

We had a new neighbour a while ago, and tbh it's been a nightmare. Our old neighbour was very quiet and hardly home, and lovely to chat to.

Have spent time chatting to this neighbour too but they are soo loud. It is a middle aged couple, but they have kids and grandkids who visit practically every day. And I don't mean 1 or 2 it's usually about 4 adults and at least 6 kids, plus 2/3 teens. They go in the garden and the kids are constantly screaming, squealing and arguing and fighting to the point we can't even sit outside anymore.

They allow the teens to throw parties in their garden where they are out talking and with music on until around 1-2am some days and not just on weekends. She works away sometimes so they come and do it while she's away but she is aware.

AIBU to have a word and tell them to pipe down?

I can deal with noise some days and have kids of my own so I know they can be noisy but this is another level beyond acceptable. And it's daily and the kids don't even live there!

Little kids screeching in the summer should be fun. Try and tune it out
Noisy music late - talk and say they need to cool it, or a phone call to the council might have to be considered

My problem wasn't quite the same, but I found some useful info here propertydisputes.lawyer/2022/08/11/noisy-neighbours-uk-law/

Admittedly, I haven't taken it further yet, but good to know where I stand.
