Just had a phone call on land line. I'm just sat having a coffee so answered it even tho I didn't know the number.
A lovely lady from Microsoft telling me I need to be really worried as someone has gained access to my PC
I agreed she could help me stop these horrible people and went along with her bullshit telling me to do this and that on my PC
She tells me to enter the word 'event' and then asks me what the options are.
She excitedly asks me what it says, she can help me get rid of these awful people gaining access to my precious computer.
What does it say she says.
I say "It says please don't listen to this person pretending to be from Microsoft as they are a cheat and scammer" she asked me to repeat what I'd said.
She then said "f**King lady" and cut the call.
Made me giggle to myself.

😂😂😂 this made me laugh! Scam callers are a total nightmare the now! I’m getting texts on my phone about missed parcels almost daily. Well done you for wasting her time - these scams need to be stopped.

I've not had a Microsoft one for a long time, the latest ones have been trying to sell loft insulation. They won't have it that I have no loft!

They’re so annoying!

Yesterday came a highly plausible looking email, purportedly from Amazon, telling me they would have to lock my account because of unusual activity - unless I immediately did this, that and the other, following their exact instructions. The thing is, I had just been on my Amazon app, with no problems whatsoever. But anyone who isn’t inundated with these things might well have been taken in. Angry

I love the ones telling me that my national insurance number will be blocked. So I won't be able to pay national insurance? Doesn't sound that bad to me. I'll crack on and do nothing then.

I changed my phone number and registered with TPS, yet I'm already getting texts from 'apple' saying there's issues with my Apple ID and to click the link to resolve it!

I'm desperate to know who is selling my data! Only online supermarket, my bank and the doctors practice have my new number....

But anyway, last time I got a scam call on my old number before changing it, it was the same number Barr a couple of digits at the end, so I knew it was the same cal centre - I answered it with the highest pitched scream I've ever done (I hurt my throat). Hopefully gave the scammer a fright!

I've been getting a few text messages lately from a bank informing me that 'there has been some unusual activity on your account'. I'll say. Highly unusual considering I don't have an account what that bank.
