To move security camera whilst on holiday

I need a super quick poll MNs.

I leave for holiday in just under an hour.

Neighbor is going to be caring for my pets in my home. I 100% trust her. That's not why I want to move it.

I've never left my fur beans for so long before and I'm going to miss them so much. It wouldn't leave anywhere uncovered as the doorbell covers the same space.

So

YABU. Your neighbor will think you're spying on them.

YANBU. Why wouldn't you take the opportunity to see and speak to your pets whilst you're away.

I mean who wouldn't miss this face?

It's fine as long as you tell your neighbour.

I shouldn't really answer you though as you haven't provided a picture

Fur beans?

Lavendersummer · 12/09/2022 09:40

You need to tell her you have a camera

Sunnyqueen · 12/09/2022 09:44

Just let her know, tell her you are leaving them up as you want to be able to see the pets incase you miss them.

If you tell your neighbour that's fine. If you don't she is likely to think you're spying on her.

We have a separate little "cat cam" which we left running when we were in the same situation. I did tell my friend it was there and she wasn't bothered. But it's on the floor so the most it would ever have picked up was her feet. Tbh the doorbell picks up more.
