Help - wedding gift for work colleague

Sorry posting here for traffic!

Work colleague got married which only just came to light so I've said I'll buy a gift from the team - what do I get ... no idea what she likes or taste etc as she's quite new :-

Oliver Bonas gift - hope they like it
Oliver Bonas gift card - boring but at least they chose
M&S gift card
Something from a local free trade shop where they sell wooden things like fruit bowls etc
Pop into the local city and get John Lewis gift with returnable receipt

I have £70
TIA

John Lewis gift card (although it wasn't one of your options!)

I'd also do a John Lewis gift card.

monkeysox · 11/09/2022 10:21

John Lewis gift card is our go to for colleagues we don't know too well.

John Lewis is always safe.

Work got me an amazon gift card when I got married and I thought that was great because I could get whatever I needed with it. I'd go for a lovely card and gift card.

If it helps, the gift cards in Waitrose can be used for Waitrose and John Lewis. It’s much easier for me to get to Waitrose to buy them!

Another vote for JL gift card and yes, it can be bought in Waitrose (and used at Waitrose) so very convenient. M&S home range is much more limited.
