Settle this very first world debate over pop 😂

Ordered a take away meal deal. It comes with a burger, chips and a can of pop.

I have been supplied with a 200ml bottle.

I think that's fine, close enough to can size.

Friend thinks it's wrong and that they should have supplied two bottles so it was closer to the can amount.

Who is right? (Light hearted!!)

I'd be annoyed as well. You've been given a bottle that's designed as a mixer, e.g. vodka and coke. I would think they've probably had some problem with the delivery and got given or had to find these as a replacement, or they think it looks more classy and expensive as it's in a glass bottle.
The glass bottles do cost more from memory but as a customer you want the size you expect, 200ml isn't really enough.

If they specifically stated it was a 330ml drink I’d would definitely say something. 200ml is 40% less than you were expecting and I don’t know anyone who would think that it would be reasonable for them to send anything else out missing 40% of the advertised volume so why would a drink be any different? Fine if they’d just said “a soft drink”, but they specified the size and then didn’t bother to give you it when you purchased.

Lucy makes a good point. Only acceptable as a substitution if they also give you a rum miniature.

Fizzy juice - coke, irn bru, lemonade
Fruit juice - fresh fruit juice
Diluting juice - squash

Was thinking about what we'd do at work in the same situation. We ran out of big bottles of water recently and were giving customers two happy waters so two of the smaller size.

Pop is dandelion and burdock, Ice cream soda, cherryade etc. Definitely not any form of cola.

Replacement bottle is too small, but not worth arguing about.
