Is anyone knowingly suffering from long COVID our there? Do you suffer any neurological symptoms?

Are you writing an article?

PopGoesTheProsecco · 07/09/2022 20:50

Yep. Loads.

Blev2022 · 07/09/2022 20:54

@ElizabethSchuyler No. I noticed people on another thread talking about having long COVID and awful symptoms and I've had an undiagnosed illness for over 2 years and have been bounced around from different NHS departments with no answers. Just wanted to see what other people experienced to see it it can be attributed to that

@PopGoesTheProsecco Do you mind me asking what neurological symptoms you've noticed? I've been referred to neurology twice and awaiting MRI results but the neurologist doesn't seem convinced a normal neurological disorders

The undiagnosed neurological problems I had before Covid improved after I’d had it.

The usual tiredness, brain fog, loss of remembering detail in simple tasks.

Additionally, insomnia, physically tired (think lactic acid in my legs going up stairs), digestion problems and awful skin, open sores on my face as if I've been burnt. GP says that COVID has destroyed the skin’s barrier.

I have cardio issues as part of long covid

PopGoesTheProsecco · 07/09/2022 21:16

Mainly brain fog and pins and needles. My new supplement regime has helped hugely with fatigue but not much else
