Best Before Dates in Asda

Can anyone who works in Asda outline what the new codes (instead of the best before dates) mean for fruit and veg?

Just have a read. If it's anything like M&S the code clearly contains the date. Such as 0709 for today.

Grapes had a 13 a 12 and a 14 hidden in a code. I guessed the dates from that.

I spoke to the Fresh Produce Manager in Asda last Friday asking about the code and what it meant. My pack of runner beans had the code E3 in place of a date. The E stands for the fifth letter of the alphabet, so it means May 3rd.
