If you around this age-early to mid 40’s…what is your usual outfit-one summer, one autumn/winter and what do you look like? Hair etc?
Starting to feel at this weird age where I’m thinking things might look Too young, never thought like that before…sure my clothes are really Out now and I’m probably stuck in an era -90’s most likely 🙈🤣

So..I have long layered hair (shoulder length , not really long, although it was until recently) i have a long fringe blended in.
Current summer outfit (I live abroad-lots kg beach etc) is denim shorts (am I too old now 🤷🏻‍♀️) vest top, striped shirt, flip flops/flat sandals and beach bag

Autumn/winter outfit would typically be-jeans, converse-white trainer or black & white boot, striped top (I know, I know-boring) and thin parka type coat (I know 😬)

What do you look like at this age? How can I/should change it up? Am I a cliche?

Wear what the hell you like!!! I'm 46 I currently have purple and red hair and am wearing made in England vintage docs and green run and fly dungarees with mushrooms on.

I have bushy long red hair. Wearing an animal print dress, pink tights and DMs. Wear what you like, x

24 or 44 or 64. You wear what you feel comfortable with.

I'm in my 60's. I'm usually found either in artist smock and jeans, or motorbike gear, and my hair is purple .

I'm almost 44, I am and have always been very casual, most days I wear jeans, t shirt with a cardi and black trainers. I have long hair which atm I'm leaving the highlights grow out to see what colour my hair actually is (seems to be blondish with some nice silvery grey coming through :P )

I’m with you OP on the rut thing. I’m ten years younger but I wear jeans, T-shirt and trainers every day. I’m not interested in fashion, I’m well aware I can wear whatever I want to, I just really don’t know what that is. Good on all the PP for knowing. I need like… a few more interesting items of clothing to mix it up. But what are they?! There’s gotta be a world between boring jeans and T-shirt and purple hair?

My mum is 80 and.sometimes has her hair dyed purple ,well more of a lilac .

I don't really think about my age when I buy clothes. I'm 46.

Denim shorts (in summer, but also over opaque tights in autumn/winter)

Smock/skater mini dresses over cropped leggings
Slouchy fine knit jumpers
Biker jacket
'Boyfriend' blazer
Duster coat
Fake fur coat
Birkenstock Arizonas
Doc Martens
Converse flatforms
Chunky brogues/loafers/creepers
A lot of silver jewellery

Hair is a very short bob - think 1920s - with shaved nape. Before that I had various different short haircuts, like page boy crops, pixie cuts etc.

Almost everything I wear is black, denim, black and white stripes or leopard print. I may occasionally venture into forest green. I'm basically a cross between Pat Butcher and Wednesday Addams.

I'm 46, and usually to be found in dark jeans/trousers with a slightly more dressy top. Joe Browns have some lovely things which I particularly like (www.joebrowns.co.uk/). I've just had my hair restyled in a rough pixie cut; I have started dying it though (reddish brown) - grey hair may be the silver crown of wisdom, but I'm not ready for that yet! 😉

As others have said, wear what makes you comfortable and happy. I know ladies in their 70's, 80's and beyond who look very stylish and fabulous, but also others in their 20's and 30's who are more akin to dowdy fossils. But it's not really the shell or what covers it, it's what lies beneath. I'm sure you look very lovely. It's a bit of a scary age sometimes though.
