DD has had dance classes at the same school for years. Last year she started a new class alongside her existing class. Was sent the invoice for new classes a couple of weeks ago, along with reams of other stuff - newletters, timetable, terms dates etc.
I had a quick read through all the stuff but didn't spot that the new class had changed time - now 45 mins later than previous and only mention was on tiny font on timetable. Her existing class has been at same time/same day the whole time. We can't make this new class - realised before first lesson started and asked for refund.
Have been advised that they'll take money off next invoice, in Spring.
AIBU to push back on this. Yes, I should have realised before I paid, but the school has a 1 term notice period for all classes so may have made no difference anyway - maybe I should be thankful they are refunding me at all! I paid online so wondering if 14 day cooling off period applies to dance schools!
