Help! Regarding internet/broadband

Just so stressed today 😫 😪
Its been awful..internet went off this morning. Didnt realise somehow the Electric vehicle charger is connected through wifi...so cant charge my car . Im so worried about this mostly as The nearest EV charger is 11 miles away

partner is working away on an intensive course. I am all alone and have been crying out of pure frustration.
I have tried everything, rang sky who said they could see an outside fault so means they have to contact open reach? Which can take up 2 days?! I am so confused

Can anyone shine a light on why/how its happened? Partner is being a selfish prick..no help whatsoever

All appliances connected to wifi and I am just so down rigt now..kids going crazy. Teen complaining she cant do homework.

Is there another way to get tempoary internet? Or wifi? I know ots a silly question
But the Router/hub shows wifi is on (light) its the internet light thats off so doesnt that mean its something to do with Sky not open reach? No one seems to be off any help. I just want it sorted to charge car 😩😓

You may need to phone the car charge company?

Yes to use your phone as a hotspot for critical stuff

If these is a problem in the cable between your home and the sky equipment for example someone has put a digger through the cable then you lose access and open reach has to mend it

Consider something like this going forward ?

Sky have given you the answer. There is a fault on the line outside which Open reach will fix.
Use your phone as a hotspot for internet.
If you have enough charge in your car drive to the nearest charger and do it there. If not you will just have to wait.

This has been the worst day ever no hyperbole intended. Just literally horrible! The weather is most certainly matching up to it as well.

Sky engineer is coming tomorrow.
Its usually DH who deals with stuff like this..I am so overwhelmed so grateful I can have some support off here though..thank you guys ❤

Regarding hotspot
Can you use with your TV? I did try it earlier on when young DC were screaming to watch their peppa pig!
And it connected but said no internet?

My mobile network is poop service round our aream definitely didnt realise how much we depend on wi-fi
Going to have to look at alternatives!
