Who gets the tickets

I'm on holiday at seaside resort there are 2p machines that you get tickets to exchange for prizes
There is dh 31 me 30 ds 11 and dd4 how would u split the tickets for prizes

If he wants a candle or a reed diffuser that desperately, surely he can just go and buy himself one? It would be a lot cheaper than using arcade tickets to do so. He sounds completely pathetic!

I split ours 50:50 between my kids. Wouldn’t even occur to me to keep any for me… I don’t need an over priced fidget toy or squishy!

Last time my child and I won some tickets we passed them on to a random child who was clearly on a mission to swap for some random shite. Random child was thrilled at our infinite generosity, we both got to a feel-good glow and, best of all, I didn’t have to come home with plastic tat. Now that I’ve got my humble brag out the there, to answer your question the children should get them.

As well as some good toys but they are lots of tickets so if dh get anything half decent it will prevent the kids getting a good toy each . We are gunna be here a week so we can collect a decent amount but not if its splits 3 ways to include him in the prizes

This is so weird. Let the kids have their fun and tell your DH to buy a fucking candle. What a prick.

I take my two grandchildren to a nearby seaside resort each school holiday,where we go on these type of machines.
It's me that provides the cash for the machines but the kids get the tickets and prizes

Give him a couple of quid and tell him to fuck off and get some rock with his name running through instead of hanging round the arcade if he's that childish. The tickets are, OBVIOUSLY, for the kids. (And maybe buy him a cheap scented candle as a souvenir since poor baby didn't get one SAD FACE)

When we do arcades, we split the starting money, and the DC can spend it on whichever machines they like. Any tickets are for whoever won them. Usually the adults will pick one small thing, and share the rest between the DC so they can get a better prize, but they aren't entitled to it, and I don't want them growing up thinking they are.

This works both ways. I've had one of my girls come help me win a bracelet from the 2p machine, with her money. Yes, it's silly and tacky, but it meant that we both had one, and got to match for the rest of the holiday. I still have the bracelet, it's quite sentimental.

Sometimes there's a special prize that one of them wants, and we all chip in and try to earn enough as a team, so they can get it. None of us would demand that someone else gives up their tickets. Yes it's a bit of silly fun, but we all enjoy it, and we respect each other. I also hate the idea that you have to stop having fun when you're an adult.

50/50 between the kids, unless the oldest is feeling generous and gives them all to the youngest - you need an absolute ton of tickets to get something even approaching worth having.

It never occurred to me as an adult to want any of the tickets.

Good grief, let the kids have the tickets! Who needs cheap ornaments or candles ? These places only give absolute tat as prizes. It's fun and exciting for kids. What kind of adult would deprive a kid of a toy for the sake of getting themselves a cheap reed diffuser!!
