Who gets the tickets

I'm on holiday at seaside resort there are 2p machines that you get tickets to exchange for prizes
There is dh 31 me 30 ds 11 and dd4 how would u split the tickets for prizes

Does he know what the prizes are? They are usually absolute tat! He sounds like my 5 year old and to be honest even he is a bit immature for his age!

There are some good things such a ornaments and gadgets Reed diffusers and candles . As well as some good toys but they are lots of tickets so if dh get anything half decent it will prevent the kids getting a good toy each . We are gunna be here a week so we can collect a decent amount but not if its splits 3 ways to include him in the prizes

I love a 2p machine as much as the next person but never once has it occurred to me that the tickets are mine or I should get a share.

Does he have a foot stamping tantrum on other peoples birthdays when he doesnt get a "non birthday" gift so the wee precious is all left out....pout pout?

A reed diffuser that will have cost about ten times more to "win" than it would to buy!

I suggest you nip to the nearest shop, buy him one and tell him to a) grow the fuck up and b) shut the fuck up. Oh and c) not expect another shag in his life while he is acting like a petulant child as it is deeply unsexy.

I guarantee he'll get carried away, win enough for a Reed diffuser and say I could have just bought one for half the price

How many 2ps will you need to put in to get a decent prize? I know the point is the fun of the machines but, for an adult, it's probably cheaper just to go out and buy a reed diffuser etc. than to amass the tickets needed to claim one as a prize.

We went yesterday, DS18 & DS19 (who is disabled). DS18 won most of them, they got sweets and a frisbee as prizes and shared. DH & I didn’t even think about some of them being ours.

I’d have trouble respecting someone who wanted their share of arcade tickets.

The eldest keeps what they’ve won and then the tickets won by you and DH is spilt equally between both DCs.

It’s very embarrassing that DH is upset that he can’t have a share. He’s not a child.

I live in a seaside town, when ds wants to go to the arcades we often find adult day trippers giving away their tickets to children rather than use them.

However my mum treats a day in the arcade as a serious mission and would absolutely expect her winnings to be her own. She's a very selfish woman, though she's not wrong to want her own winnings.

I would split between children and pinch a sweet off each of them

Sorry but that is so sad. There's nothing on those things you couldn't just buy in b n m. He needs grow up and let the kids have fun.

After a week we got 4500 tickets which was split 3 ways between the kids, so 1500 each. They got what they all wanted and there were about 400 left over so DP and I got some sweets for the journey home. Would never have occurred to us to split it equally between the 5 of us. I have no need for plastic swords, magic kits and princess accessories 🤣
