To ask you to help me solve this mystery

We've just come back from holiday, and I can't mind my Apple Watch which I left at home. The watch will obviously have run out of battery.

The FindMy app is pinging a signal everyday, and it's giving several addresses. Sometimes it's saying it's at our address. It's currently saying it's next door, and occasionally says it's 2 doors away.

I've turned the house upside down twice in an attempt to find it.

Is the biggest likelihood that it's somewhere in the house, but the app just gets the address wrong sometimes? Or is it possible I dropped it on the street before we left, and a neighbour has picked it up?

Not in shoes, i was wearing them and would fee it. Not in the loo either and it wouldn't explain why it's now back home with me.

If you drove to the gym then I’d say it’s very likely it’s somewhere in the car. Under one of the seats, perhaps.

Has the FindMy App confused your watch and your phone? Ie are you just tracking your phone?

Have you looked in the lifty up thing between the front seats of your car ?

I agree it's probably the car/bike/however you got to the gym. My car has gaps under the seats that you can't see unless you lift the mats up. Things are forever rolling under the seats and falling in the gap when the mats have moved slightly

I lose things all the time. I used the St Anthony prayer as well. Generally it works.
Looking at the watch ring or health app can you see roughly what you were doing when it stopped tracking your heartbeat.
i also realise we are creatures of habit so do a bit of re-imagining to try and remember where you put it down.

I walked to the gym

It makes sense that it’s finding your phone and pinging its location.

But no need to worry - you’ll find it soon enough.

Would it help to recall WHY you didn't take it with you. Were you thinking stash it somewhere safe ? Hide it from view ? Or a routine 'just leave it where you last took it off' ? When was that ? Do you remember doing something deliberate with it (even if you can't remember what that was ?!)

Ok last activity ring was the day score we went away, which tallies with my memory. I remember thinking "I'm not going to take this away with me, and I'll put it on to charge before I go". But it wasn't on the charger when we got back. I've looked in the clothes I was sweating on the day we went away etc, plus all the suggestions on here, as well as just general turning the loose upside down.

I'm going to go back to trying to forget about it, I will pray tonight and hope it turns up when I least expect it to.

1. Its in your bathroom because you probably had a shower and took it off and put it between or under the folded towels,also check hot press
2. Its in your make up bag

You're definitely seeing your phone location.
But it also means it hasn't been charged, so unlikely anyone has it. You need to try and remember what you were doing when you were going to put on charge. You got distracted and put down somewhere.

My ds does this thing when he is looking for his keys..saw it online. He just walks around saying "keys" "keys" " keys" and funnily enough he finds himself walk straight towards them. It's like he subconsciously know where to look. Worth a try!!
