To wonder what is out there in space that they’re not telling us?

Something is out there.

If you look into the sky you see a million different stars shining back at you. We are told these are all suns in the sky. And we are then told that in those million suns there is absolutely nothing out there? It’s not true. It’s very likely that they are already known about and have made themselves aware to us on many occasions. Why are we being kept in the dark again?

In reality, scientists would be shouting from the rooftops at the first hint at even a trace of long dead microscopic maybe-life. I mean we're often getting headlines that a planet has been discovered lightyears away that maybe just might have the right conditions for life, or trace gases in the atmosphere that could theoretically be suggestive of life. If we found actual real sapient aliens? A technological advanced civilisation? We would know.

This. Heard just the other day James Webb has found an exoplanet with carbon dioxide in its atmosphere.

Yes they would. But per the link I posted earlier in the thread explaining the Fermi paradox, it would be bar far the worst news the human race had ever received and mean we are almost certainly a doomed species.

I have enjoyed this thread immensely though it must be said.

Somethings that look like stars are not stars. They're satellites.

My money's on espionage. I feel that if aliens had gone to the trouble of travelling light years across the universe, they would have better tech than balloons or balloon-like objects that can be shot down, er presumably.🤔🤷‍♀️
