Don't understand fashion/ cosmetic trends

AIBU to think the big thick dark eyebrows and lip injections (that look like duck lips) just looks awful on everyone who has it? I don't understand why you would pay good money to look like that?
Also the trend of guys getting what looks like a poddle perm on top of their head - it just looks silly.
AIBU or am I just to old to understand why it looks good?

Firstly the mullet is definitely making a come back!
Secondly I agree with the OP. I just don't get why beautiful women do that but as others have said it is their choice. Yep most of us may have hideous fashions hidden in our old photos but none actually altered our bodies. It was 'paint ' that could be washed off, re-dyed etc. Protruding lips are protruding lips and not something that can be washed away if it's not right!
