Am I a snob?

How would you feel about these things…Almost constant toilet talk/humour and discussion of disgusting things…also frequently when eating dinner.
Diving straight in and not waiting for others meals to come at a restaurant
Loudly talking/bitching about others whilst in a restaurant/walking around…

Am I being a snob to inwardly cringe at all these things and to not find it funny?
I feel I have a great sense of humour and am actually pretty laid back, but I don’t like all of the above or being around it (have had to be recently)
Dh said I’m a snob and not down to earth..am I a snob? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh,yes!... You are waaaaaay out of line for expecting some sort of decency at a shared table, in a shared space, wherever it may be!!!! What's wrong with you?!!? Tell you what, next time they (Whomever this is.) Starts the performance, interrupt with a louder, and well practiced one of your own.(You could enlist the help of a fellow table mate who is also fed up, prior to the dinner... You could try female type issues, or something from online, (With pics.)You don't really need to practice, just play along with each other's words. Please, do not stop until you are asked to leave the premises!!!) Then, without a further word, (Except perhaps for an apology to fellow restaurant goers.) simply get up and leave, (...Them with the tab!). This might get the point across. If this isn't your style, just take the offending individuals aside, before the next meal, and speak privately with them, about what bothers you. If you get no satisfaction, discontinue eating with the gross-outs.🤬🤬🤬-😳🤯😩🤢🤮😞💔‼️‼️

Im put off food really easily so I’d hate toilet talk at the dinner table.

I also think it’s exceptionally rude to start a meal when others are waiting for theirs UNLESS it’s a massive table and even then you wait until at least a few others have their meals brought to them. DH’s family were brought up with wry different manners to my family and they all start their food before anyone else in a restaurant. I say nothing but it irks me. They also burp during meals. It’s grim and we rarely done out with them now

I think snob doesn’t mean what either of you think it means

so no this doesn’t make you a snob , it makes you possibly condescending or disparaging, but the word isn’t snob
