Getting that NQR feeling about a guy but ignoring it?

I’ve meet a guy. Things are pretty dry at the moment and I’ve built it up to what I want it to be.

When I first meet him there were a few red flags and I’ve had the feeling something is not quite right.

i should go with my gut instead of ignoring it. I’ve got slim pickings at the moment which is why I think I’m still messaging him.

Anyone ever ignore the red flags and it all ended happy after?

If he’s got a ‘discipline’ at AWS, he won’t survive there long.

Just joining the thread to say that surgeons in the UK do not earn £200k even 20-30 years after graduation 🤣 There are very, very few in the country who work more than full time, have professional achievements from work in their spare time that have enabled them to have good clinical excellence awards, AND have a busy weekly private practice on top of all that might earn £200k. It is incredibly rare, especially these days.

So he may well earn more than a surgeon but it’s such a weird comment. Even if it were true (I suspect it isn’t), he is such a weird sounding bloke, who possibly also has some deep seated insecurities. I have avoided anyone who told me early on what they earn or how much their house is worth or whatever and it’s always turned out for the best.
