Think dinner will just be picky salad stuff as can’t be bothered to cook. Will prob have a couple of beers as we’ve got a day off tomorrow.

AlbaDT · 18/08/2022 17:47

These threads always jolt me into realising I need to get more fruit and veg in my diet.

breakfast - weetabix x 3 with milk and sugar

lunch - leftovers from last night: sweet chilli meatballs and spaghetti

snack - cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit

dinner (in about 30 mins) - South African mango chutney chicken with couscous and a green salad

DoingJustFine · 18/08/2022 17:48

2 poached eggs on one slice unbuttered toast.
3 Maryland cookies. 😬
2 Fruit shortcake biscuits. 😬
2 bags of lentil curls, plus 5 fish fingers with tartare sauce.
Dinner will be chilli and a bread roll.

Writing this down is sobering. I've had zero veg, 5 biscuits and 2 bags of crisps.

TheNoonBell · 18/08/2022 17:52

It's DP's birthday today so we are living the high life (food is DP's choice):

Breakfast: Bacon and Shreddies
Lunch: Roast beef sandwich and ceasar salad
4 O'Clock celebration: Champagne and nibbles <-- CURRENTLY HERE (and feeling squiffy already)
Dinner (later tonight): 3 courses at the nearby posh restaurant

Going to be a real mess later on.

DinosaursEatMan · 18/08/2022 17:53

2 x coffee

Breakfast: Muesli, yogurt and orange juice, more coffee

mid-morning coffee

Rice cakes, Stilton and salad, water

mid-afternoon coffee, iced bun

2 x sweets from DS

I’m just considering an ice lolly, no idea about dinner as yet.

DahliaDreamer · 18/08/2022 17:55

Two poached eggs, two slices of toast
Two dessert spoons vanilla ice cream
Two choc hob nobs

Seems I have a thing about twos

Wouldloveanother · 18/08/2022 17:57

Yes, it’s very stark seeing your dietary choices written down 😬 my main meals are essentially healthy, my issue is snacking - mainly chocolate. And lunch ideas - I have toast for breakfast so don’t want bread again, but can never think what to have! So end up snacking. Not a fan of soup and jacket potato takes ages. I’ve been inspired by some of the ideas here though.

A bag of giant chocolate orange buttons and a mini corned beef pasty. I had a procedure late this morning so couldn't eat until afterwards. I'm usually like Pac-man 🤣

Ooh, are they Terry's giant chocolate orange buttons or another sort?

Shortkiwi · 18/08/2022 18:00

Tassimo Cappuccino
1/2 banana
A protein yoghurt
one slice of wholemeal bread with spread
Small bag of cheesy wotsits
Home made cottage pie is planned for dinner

Weefreetiffany · 18/08/2022 18:07

Sourdough Toast and iced coffee
smoothie made with half a banana, peanut butter, oats and milk
2/3 medium chicken and veg burrito, handful of raspberries
one choc hazelnut cookie
ribs with borlotti beans and sweet potato for dinner soon, probably with crushed ice lemonade

not a normal day- we’ve got guests! Got my 10 a day if I count coffee as a bean though 😂 9 if not

Toddlerteaplease · 18/08/2022 18:13

Overnight oats
Fat Rascal from Betty's in York
Ginormous carrot cake ice cream,
And a 'beastly' pork sandwich from York Hogroast.
