it's awfully early to be drunk/high.

really, please get some help.

SweetCheeksLovesSweetTalk · 22/02/2009 14:52

I think that was actually a really nasty post by Cote as well and completly out of osrder, I'm not justifying the response by ilovesprouts or the fact that she resirested this thread.

But why bring up a miscarage? Cote posts should also be reported

kitkat9 · 22/02/2009 14:52

you should be ashamed - you are a mother - do you want your dc growing up thinking the best way to deal with people is to smack them in the mouth?

not very civilised, is it?

and why on earth would you search for this thread? seems like you went looking for a fight.

nice.

SmallShips · 22/02/2009 14:52

It is mad on here ATM.

ilovesprouts - Bow out gracefully love, you spouted off as a knee jerk reaction, fair enough, but you can stop anytime.

Marthasmama · 22/02/2009 14:53

That's what I thought too lockets. Clearly a boring afternoon and needed a bit of an online scrap.

littlelamb · 22/02/2009 14:53

ShockHmm

CoteDAzur · 22/02/2009 14:55

It wasn't the miscarriage itself I brought attention to. It was her age - that she wrote like a teenager but seemed to have a child of childbearing age.

Lulumama · 22/02/2009 14:55

i really don;t see why people who posted a year ago beign critical of jade, are now being told off for being upset she is dying?

the two things aren't mutually exclusive

compo · 22/02/2009 14:55

bloody hell, so now we judge people for text speak and reading magazines and not books

Rindercella · 22/02/2009 14:55

Good point littlelamb, well made.

expatinscotland · 22/02/2009 14:57

Honestly, stop trolling on here and get some help.

littlelamb · 22/02/2009 14:58

Yep, I thought so too

CoteDAzur · 22/02/2009 14:58

She passed judgment on me ("sick minded and twisted") from a few simple posts.

I only played her game. I hope she had as much fun receiving as she seemed to have giving.

SweetCheeksLovesSweetTalk · 22/02/2009 15:00

I dont think Cote has portyrayed herself in a particualry good light on this thread in either of her posts, she has come off no better than ilovesprouts IMO.

Who the hell is she to judge someone on what they read or write on their profile. Compo is right to be shocked

MollieO · 22/02/2009 15:02

I think people are entitled to change their opinions. I have no interest in Jade Goody but as a mum I am sad that a young mother will not live long enough to see her young children grow up. Also at the age her sons are it is likely that they will have very little actual memories of her when they are older, which is very sad.

Also find it little odd that someone has resurrected an old thread simply to have a go at people

CoteDAzur · 22/02/2009 15:03

Those who are easily shocked should best step away.

Sassybeast · 22/02/2009 15:05

I bear Jade no ill will at all. I've never liked her and I don't like her now, dying or not. It is actually quite laughable that someone who is terminally ill suddenly becomes a darling who can do no wrong. I intend to be a bitch until the day I die and I sure as hell will laugh my ghostly pants off if anyone stands up and spouts crap about how wonderful and faultless I was. Why can't the Jade ghouls who are waiting feverishly for her dying breath as brought to them by trash press and tabloid TV accept that there are a large number of people who literally do not care about Jade Goody ? Doesn't make them evil, vile etc. Just means that they have more impiortant things to worry about

ilovesprouts · 22/02/2009 15:20

at the end of the day the thread may have been old and i gave my say on it ..i did not like the fact that someone comment about my dd mc she wont be the first or last to get pg and i was standing by her anyway shes 17 and so what if i dont type prop or just read books just mags so what it dont give ppl a right to slag my lifestyle off etc i am what i am and yes i worked all my life untill having my lb two years ago and my dd wrote the message bout being sick not me if you dont like what i put i dont care ive got 3 lovley kids and dh lots of mates and fam thats all that matters to me

mshadowsisfab · 22/02/2009 15:25

,,,,,,,,,,...............

AitchTwoOh · 22/02/2009 15:39

i read what i wrote and i think 'ouch' in light of the fact that she's dying. but at the time, celeb bb was fresh in my mind and i did think that she had behaved in a very ugly manner. no, more than that... she HAD behaved in a very ugly manner, no question about it.

and the absolute god's honest truth is that being diagnosed with cancer is what has rehabilitated her with the british public... who honestly knew she was on indian BB before the diagnosis news came out? no one, her career here was pretty much over. what a horrible irony, really, that she gets back her fame and fortune by dying. poor lass, it's a modern parable really.

there was a programme on R4 today (but presumably recorded some time ago) and one person said 'you're not as fat as Jo Brand and not as stupid as Jade Goody'... again... OUCH. but as Frank says, it is interesting how the view has changed in such a short period of time. a while ago, a byword for stupidity, now a beatified paragon of maternity.

the truth will be somewhere in between, no doubt, but this, these threads, these strong opinions, that's what happens when you sell your soul to tv.

marg1066 · 22/02/2009 15:43

Have none of you that have slagged Jade off ever made a wrong decision about a man or any said something you would regret? Were all human its just she is in the public eye.
I hope Jade,Jack,Freddie, Bobby and all the family have a great wedding day.
Anyone wanting to call her greedy for asking for the money, other stars do it, she is doing it for her boys future if it was me I'd milk it for every penny.

DottyDot · 22/02/2009 15:44

Fantastic post, Aitch.

Lulumama · 22/02/2009 15:44

ditto aitch

and excellent post

ilovesprouts.. i think that your post telling people to be ashamed of themselves 12 months before the event had happened was probably not the best idea

i am sorry your daughter had a miscarriage, that should not have been dragged into it

did not see what your deleted comments were, but i imagine they were pretty nasty too

don't think this thread shows any of us in our best lights

mayorquimby · 22/02/2009 15:54

someone was really spoiling for a fight by dragging up this thread.
i agree that it's weird how some are now deifying her because she is terminally ill when before they had insulted her.
fwiw her illness has not changed my opinion of her in the slightest.
