My sin: I went to a Wetherspoons whilst on holiday in England. Not once, but twice The food was great and I have 3 children with very restricted tastes in food. I'm the same so the menu suited us all. I feel bad about going there knowing the mumsnet consensus on the guy who runs Wetherspoons but it met our needs. I am a Catholic and feel like I need to say a few Hail Marys as a result.

What are your mumsnet sins?

My grown up dc are still living at home. Of course I charge them rent.
my dog sleeps wherever she likes, including on my bed. Sometimes the cat joins us.

I tell off others peoples children even though they're not my monkeys or my circus.

We went away in the UK last weekend and ate in Wetherspoons 3 times! I have no shame...

I have private medical insurance.

I am shit at housework and mainly don’t bother
my kids have no limits on screen time and I don’t check their phones
I talk to strangers
I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt

I have never 'fumed' over anything; I've been bloody annoyed though. I don't believe I have ever 'sobbed and been shaking' either.

Oh, and I’m financially dependent on DH and let him sort out all the finances. I don’t have a running away fund.

I had to get up to go to the loo during the night and once again, I didn't flush the toilet! Yesterday, I used the loo brush when cleaning the bathroom!

Also, I haven't had a shower today, I will have one tomorrow and I am not changing my bottom sheet later on, I will be flipping it over to the side I don't sleep on!

I never tried to get maintenance from ex to pay for our son. If he doesn't offer, he doesn't deserve to feel like a good person.

I am the ultimate sinner on MN. Not only did my DSD call me "mum" (her choice and we had 100% residency), but when me and her dad divorced she stayed with me and her half sister as approved by the court.

I don't think there is a penance strong enough in MN church for that sin..I'm going straight to Hell.

Planning a wedding that starts at midday.

My cleaner is just my cleaner. She is not ‘my lovely cleaner’, she isn’t treated like one of the family, and I don’t pay her more per hour than I earn myself. She cleans, I pay, she goes.

I have a buy to let property and feel no guilt that I’ve ‘prevented someone owning a home’. My tenant works on fixed-term contracts and often relocates - where is he supposed to live if there are no private landlords?

I always buy the biggest chicken I can find. It still only lasts 1 meal for 4 people.

I allow my kids to give up stuff when they stop enjoying it. No questions asked/no emotional blackmail/no discussion about lost future Olympic champion status.

I don't have children and don't actually like the company of children, let alone think that they should be more important than adults.

I am a senior manager in the NHS.

I bought my dog off gumtree (admittedly several years ago) and have never bothered training him within an inch of his life (we just kind of rubbed along together until he became civilised).

I don't always walk my dog every day.

I drive a diesel car with a largish engine and I enjoy racing the teenage boys racers at traffic lights.

I'm overweight and have given up giving a shit.

I've been the OW a few times and don't give a shit.

I've got a close male friend who I'd happily shag senseless.
