What you up to, where you from, how old are you? 🤣I’m nosey and genuinely interested about what people in the U.K. (I’m not there now) and around the world are up to.

I’m 44, British but live in Portugal.
We’ve just had nachos and I made Grinch popcorn with my 4 year old Dd and watched the film (in the middle of August 🙄😅)
Its my night to do bedtime, story etc and then I’ll sit on the balcony and listen to music/read…not that exciting!

Anyone else?

North Wales, aged 44. Been to the beach with DH and one of the kids, hoping for a sea breeze to keep cool. But was hot hot hot. We were fortunate to sea a seal swim by though. Came home, sat on the lounger in the shade to keep cool, cooked tea, nipped out for some red wine then sat in the back garden to try cool down and watch the sun go down.

47, should be living it large for (probably) the last time at an amazing festival with my friends after such a stressful time but DP a complete misery and ruined it. Came home early today at his insistence and out of protest drank best bottle of bubbly he had been saving while contemplating our relationship since we just don’t have the same interests anymore.

Well you did ask. 😆

Feel so sad for others who have clearly had a far worse day than I have and hope tomorrow will be better for you. 💐

Only just surfaced out of DD’s bedroom after she now just fell asleep ( started story and teeth at 7.30 😩) cba to sit in the dark on the balcony as too tired 😆
Majority of these sound much more exciting than mine…to be on the way to Paris would be 🤩🍾

41, Scotland where the sun is just setting, 18 degrees but feels hotter. Sitting in front of the tv watching The Capture for second time. Dog is stretched out by my side 4 paws in the air 😁 just back from an evening walk.

49, Scotland. I’ve spent the day in another city with an old friend, and now home watching Casualty in my pjs. DP has just gone for a walk. I think we are going to watch the Woodstock thing on Netflix when he gets back.

32, Perthshire, Scotland. Sun just set over the hills. Can just see it from patio (if I go on tippy toes). Enjoying a wine and some cake with berries from my garden.

27, East Anglia, just sitting on the sofa resting after a busy day clearing out the garage. DH is watching Star Wars and we've just had a slow cooker chicken curry for tea. I'm rewatching Call the midwife at the moment so I'm going to make a cup of tea and get that on and maybe do some crochet, DH will probably play a game on the iPad.

43, live in London, but just finished packing all the bags in Valencia. Been here almost a month, and loved every minute of it. Stuffed my face with all the olives I had left, and about to have Cava on the terrace 🍾🥂 Back home tomorrow 😭😭😭

Just come back on here purely to say I've just devoured a nectarine that I'm so glad I picked up last minute at the shops 🍑. So juicy and ripe. Fruit (from the shops) is often rubbish.

Dh is out for a stroll. Thinking how I can persuade him to drive to the nearest services so we can sit outside and drink iced coffee 🍹. There are lots of foreign lorry drivers so again I can pretend I'm on holiday.

I'm back to school shopping with my daughter. Aged 45, British in the Midwest US. Sons and DH away for the weekend...my evening will be a cheap bottle of Chianti watching (re-watching) Mindhunter on Prime. Exciting times who am i trying to kid, I love it.

Just in case you think my life sounds dull - please note that I'm washing my sheets tonight so after my Chianti and Jonathan Groff evening I'll be getting into a freshly laundered bed and sharing it with no-one ❤️

42, north east Scotland. We were out visiting family earlier, then came back to thick haar in our coastal village. Easy dinner of pizza, and have spent the evening cross stitching, watching James Bond and drinking gin. Off to a boozy brunch tomorrow

43. We just got back from Cornwall (drove all the way back up to the north east today so a long long drive). Had a curry and a glass of wine, lovely hot shower and now in bed. Getting an early night as I got up at 6am.

Trying to get my 3 week old baby to settle down and sleep when it is still 30°C. My neighbours are helping the situation by playing shit music loudly enough to be heard approximately 100 miles away.

Sipping a mojito, making a French chicken dish, breeze drifting through the doors to the garden, vaguely planning to look at my work for next week (freelancer), but will probably just pour a second mojito. DH pootling around, looking at the news online, drinking a beer.

DC hot and awake upstairs - their bedrooms take forever to cool down.

42 - Liverpool

DH (too hot) and DS in bed so I am sitting in front of fan watching TV with a glass of vodka

Well me and DH (59 and 68 respectively) have had a lazy day in the garden reading, chatting, me putting the washing out, him pottering and sloping indoors 'where it's cool' putting the telly on for the football results. We've had dinner, watched a film, and now he's on the sofa in front of Match of the Day and I'm on the laptop in the dining room surfing the net for clothes I don't need and reading Mumsnet.

37 Hampshire. Just finished packing for our holiday tomorrow. In bed, should be asleep but 1000 degrees so browsing mn whilst dreaming of all the air con I'll have in Florida tomorrow!
