I was horrified enough earlier to read this tweet, but to see her blind ignorant responses AIBU to think she should never be allowed on tv again? Her judgement today is eye-wateringly offensive...

I don’t agree with her on the gender ideology issue but I like what she has to say on many other issues.

There's been a few similar hot takes on Twitter with people attempting to shoehorn their own particular hobby horse into the arena. The Tories are banging on about the perils of multiculturalism and the Lefties are trying to compare it to whatever victim cohort they identify as. The Tories' take was roughly the same in 1988 but back then as I recall Lefties were more concerned with notions of blasphemy and the content of the book in question ie they were talking about the event, not about themselves. That's all changed.
