Downstairs bog … I’m thinking it needs something on the bare wall but what? It’s a small room so don’t want anything too in your face. I was thinking one of those old fashioned “soap co.” Pictures (usually a picture of a cow in a bath or something!)

DH says it’s fine as it is.

I’d paint the walls - a dark navy or dark green would look fab then some lovely botanical prints and a bigger mirror

Yes to a hanging plant that trails. I have one on my bathroom that hangs and it looks nice. Then a print on the left hand wall (I have a New Yorker framed print that people always seem to comment on) .. I also have your tiles but in blue!

I think a blind would add texture and finish the room.

Can you believe I never even realised I’d forgotten to put a blind up! I’ve spent that long looking at it wondering what was missing I totally missed the obvious!

A colourful Roman blind as window dressing

Pick a warm undertone from the blind and change the wall paint colour.

Change the mirror out to a large framed rectangle.

Buy hand towels to match a dominant colour in the blind.

Buy a soap dispenser to match.

Get rid of the ducks to a room with a bath rehome the plant too.

Paint the walls a more cheerful colour. Bright orange or green.

My downstairs loo is where I keep all of my certificates/ trophies. It's out of the way, slightly ironic and has the added benefit that it subtlu shows off to any visitors 😁

A taller plant on the floor, a hanging trailing plant from the ceiling to cover the vent. Some funky prints in frames along the big wall.

Move the plant, Get a basket next to loo for toilet rolls, do the shlef thing suggested for plants, add a bright blind, keep the ducks. 🦆🦆🦆
