It's annoying, but I've said before that I do feel a bit sorry for them. Not hugely, but imagine what your life must be like if you get your jollies resurrecting old threads in MN - not all that great.
It's so unoriginal as well, not even a witty troll that makes you laugh, just posting crap on old threads.

Why aren't @mnhq not locking the threads

Not sure how they can ban someone for doing something that is permitted by their own forum. If they want to stop it they should put something in place to prevent it happening.

Presumably they are making new Gmail accounts and using those to create new MN accounts faster than MN can ban all their accounts.
They really need a hobby.

I saw one of these threads where the most recent poster was just commenting that the thread had come up in "I'm on" because they had posted on it years ago. I wonder if it is a single poster resurrecting zombie threads or a glitch at MNHQ. I haven't had a look to see if there is a thread in site stuff which might shed more light on it.

They locked the thread tonight which was about paying for tap water in restaurants in 2008!
