Actual strawberries are delicious.

Strawberry jam, jelly, yoghurt, ice cream, sauce... are all horrible. Raspberry, blackcurrant, blueberry etc. versions are better.

YANBU. Except I did like strawberry sherbets when I was a child - in a paper bag out of a big jar from the corner shop. Conversely, in that era oranges usually weren't very nice but orange flavoured things were lovely. (There are lots of tasty oranges and 'small citrus' now though).

Disagree - I love strawberries and all strawberry flavoured things like yoghurt, jam, ice cream etc.

However I feel this way about cherries. I adore cherries but cherry flavouring is rank - just the thought of a cherry yoghurt is enough to make me queasy.

Apparently banana flavouring tastes nothing like real bananas because when it was invented bananas were different and now we're stuck with it.

My issue is with mangoes and it’s the other way around - I can’t stand fresh mango (it has a weird fishy flavour to me), but I enjoy mango-flavoured things. Odd!

I love chocolate, absolutely adore it.
However , I cannot stand chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, chocolate milk shake, chocolate brownies or anything, at all, that's chocolate flavoured... I just , only, love chocolate.
