Ok, watched the video. The dancing isn't great but many of us aren't great dancers either so it's funny how everyone is suddenly a dancing judge. One can laugh at them - if that's one wants to do - but isn't this usually done in private? To create a post just so someone and his wife are publicly ridiculed and put down is VERY MEAN and bizarre behaviour. I'm not a fan of either of them, nor am I a Tory but I can imagine their relatives and friends coming across this post and feeling hurt.

It's his wedding day, presumably one of the guests wasn't overly trustworthy and broadcast it to the world- it's not like him and carrie were flaunting it. I'm not a fan of his, at all, but out of everything he's done literally zero fucks about this.

If I had been thrown out of my job in Tory HQ for fiddling my taxi expense account, I can quite see the attraction of returning as the PM's wife.

Not sure Carrie would have been quite the household name she has become without the exposure she has had in No 10.

The question for me is rather why she is happy in that role rather than achieving something of her own.

I agree. I've seen much worse dancing than that. It's funny, but it's hardly "disgraceful".

I imagine Boris is pretty good company when he's not running the country. He can be very funny.

What makes this video embarrassing isn’t Boris’ dancing (it’s just classic boris dancing tbf and plenty of people can’t dance), it’s that they aren’t dancing together cohesively and there is 0 chemistry and, as posters have pointed out, Carrie has to utilise a toddler to stifle the embarrassment. I think it is very cringe inducing to watch.

i don’t think this thread is distasteful - boris is a total prick and serial adulterer who has already cheated on Carrie and I’m not sure why she is with him (I have suspicions but they aren’t pleasant). People are allowed to have opinions about public figures, even at their weddings!

It was a party on Tory donor Lord Bamford's country estate. They were intending to hold it at Chequers but there was understandably a bit of an outcry about that and so the venue was changed.
