Crisis? What crisis? Boris Johnson dances away the country's heartache.

First dance with Carrie:

Well, he would be the not so funny comedy contestant/early boot on Strictly, Glitterball looking at that, but (despite being a Labour voter) I nonetheless think footage ought to have stayed private.

Well, I suppose it is his wedding. But the sooner this oxygen thief disappears from the public eye the better.

It isn’t though! Their wedding was last year and now they’re having another “wedding celebration”. I suppose he’ll keep having “weddings” as long as some fool is willing to pay for them.

There is absolutely zero chemistry between them isn't there

Painful watch. I had to grab on to a passing toddler just to get me through.

3luckystars · 06/08/2022 04:17

When was this?

I have to admit he is probably a better dancer than me 😂

balalake · 06/08/2022 07:21

Can we have a video of the divorce lawyer dancing at the prospect of a large income in a few years time?

Last weekend when they got married again a the grace and favour country pad they shouldn't really be using seeing as he's resigned.

VladmirsPoutine · 06/08/2022 07:38

I hate to say it but it's true if a man wants unbridled access to women to do his bidding all he really needs to do is wield enough power (be it financially, socio-economically etc). I have no doubt in my mind that Rupert Murdoch could easily find an 18yr old model to marry before the month's end.

ihatebojo · 06/08/2022 07:39

Well, they were never going to be Fred and Ginger, were they?

I hate the man, can't imagine why any woman would want to talk or sleep with him, let alone marry him but there's nowt so queer as folk.

BerylBird · 06/08/2022 07:54

Not a BJ fan - in fact all Tories make my skin crawl just now - but I don't begrudge the man a "dance" at his own wedding.

No, the party venue got moved to a donor/friend's pad in the Cotswolds.

ShirleyJackson · 06/08/2022 07:59

I like Carrie’s dress…

<irrelevant>

Whitehorsegirl · 06/08/2022 07:59

Every time I look at this man and his behaviour I can't help wondering why any woman would find him attractive and decide to sleep with him and think he would make a good father...I guess power and money is more important for some that basic self-respect.

DrDetriment · 06/08/2022 08:03

I'm not a fan of Boris but this thread is quite distasteful. Laughing at a man who is simply dancing at his own wedding.

He looks a bear in a man suit. A reverse Bungle.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Studyafter40 · 06/08/2022 08:04

How cute is Wilf though? That little mop of blonde hair. Much cuter on a child than a boorish, sweaty man.

That's what I thought.
It particularly made laugh at the line "touching you touching me," as they looked like they didn't actually want to touch each other. Carrie seems quite relieved when Wilf(?) toddles along and she can pick him up instead!

sashagabadon · 06/08/2022 08:08

Everyone dances like that to Sweet Caroline!
I don’t think he’ll be invited on strictly this year but otherwise I’ve seen plenty of similar moves at weddings.

There are plenty of people who don't enjoy all eyes on them for a first dance. Maybe Carrie is one. I would have found it excruciating so found a way not to do one.

miserablecat · 06/08/2022 08:19

First dance is usually one where it looks like you actually like the person you're dancing with though, no just a random spectator that's next to you at a rugby

You mean, the pad of someone to whom Boris has promised a massive and lucrative favour before he leaves office.

It wasn't his wedding

Quia · 06/08/2022 08:26

I'm so glad we're paying our caretaker Prime Minister to stay on and doss around at Chequers/go to parties/go on holiday. How would we manage without him?

Pottedpalm · 06/08/2022 08:27

YABU

MarshaBradyo · 06/08/2022 08:27

At least when he’s gone he can just do stuff like dance at his wedding without people such as op caring

There’ll be a few people who have to find other stuff (Cummings springs to mind)
