I'm perpetually puzzled about why replies to messages have to be so bitchy! Why though?
I genuinely don't understand why people are not more supportive to those who are clearly in need. Surely that's the point isn't it?
And why so rude??

I genuinely don't understand it. Surely you wouldn't do it or say such things in real life?

I think I'm stuck in the last century......

You want an odd one though to add interest.

it’s the obvious electioneering that drives me mad. I know perfectly well it goes on and it’s tedious.
it’s mumsnet, you discuss electoral issues but you don’t campaign.

"There are so many hundred of thousands of posts on here where women have been incredibly supportive to other posters. From support through illness, bereavement, loneliness. Through those early days of being bewildered with a new baby. On the teens board. On the parenting board. Advice re work, re legal rights, re property, re Style and Beauty, re relationships. Also, downright practical things to do with a child's homework or how to fix something or how to use something.
The point is, the AIBU board is for a specific thing..... to find out if you are being unreasonable or not. If you don't want to know that you are, then don't ask the question on this board. The actual POINT of this board is to get an objective viewpoint from people not emotionally involved in the situation."

I TOTALLY AGREE. I find it a bit insulting when people who are barely aware of the rest of the site complain about the reactions on AIBU

I refuse to believe the threads on here are real and it's not a just satirical shitposting.

Come now. My husband's not washed in 17 years, shall I tell him our date night is off? My husband's shagging the maid, shall I just sit outside quietly? I have bought a dog, should I feed this dog? I have a baby, should I now ditch my friends?

This is all surely parody.
