Lift home scenario

Ava & Tom have a teen dd together (14), not together, Ava is single, Tom has a wife & baby.

Ava & dd attend family party, Ava drinks a little too much, they sleep over. The family member happens to live near Tom & his wife.

The following day, dd explains to dad that they stayed over and could he drive them home (only about 20 mins away) It was not dads day to see dd, he says he cant but with no explanation other than he has plans.

Who is BU

Tom - Should have done it as it affects dd

Ava - Should have arranged transport

Ava is BU.

I'm guessing you're Tom's wife?

Yep @Jollygreen came on to say both of these things!

Mississipi71 · 31/07/2022 20:11

Ava is a CF.

Skyeheather · 31/07/2022 20:20

Ava should have phoned for a taxi if the family member couldn't give them a lift home.

This is the kind of thing DP's ex used to do and DP would have given the lift saying it's for DD not the ex.........

Omg where are you from?

Sounds like Aberdeenshire to me.

dylanthedragon · 31/07/2022 21:43

Why couldn't Ava have used the transport the next morning that she had planned to before she got drunk?

If DD just asked her dad on the off chance or because she was bored and being a teenager then neither Ava or Tom abu. If Ava asked DD to call her dad for a lift then she is being unreasonable.

Need more info Op.

Ava is the unreasonable one
As they both stayed over, she should've been ok to drive DD home
It's fine for DD to ask but equally fine for Tom to say no

Maybeebebe · 31/07/2022 22:32

guess we will never know - but OP is not Tom as is clearly skewed to "what a bastard" he is
