As I've gotten older I've acquired some, i pluck them out but two days later they're back! I can have around 10 at one time.
Any permanent/semi permanent solutions for them? Laser?

My mum goes to see someone every so often (maybe once every 4 months or less) for something called sugaring. I think it's similar to waxing but not quite as drastic or painful.

@RockandRollsuicide pleased to be of assistance!

I just dab it on the 2 areas on my chin where the black hairs sprout. I suppose you could spread it all over your face and get rid of the peach fuzz as well but I prefer threading for that. TBH no reason why you couldn't use it all over your entire body if you had a vat of it!

You need to use it twice a day forever I'm afraid. But a £60 tube does last a long time if only using it in a small area. I mean, like a year or something.

If a hair does come out, I pluck it. But I think that's only been once in about 2 months and it was very fine.

So basically, remove all your chin hair with whatever method you like. Then apply cream twice daily. Remove any chin hairs which grow back, again with any method you like.

The cream just slows down/prevents regrowth.

I never leave the house without tweezers. You can bet that I'll always find some I've missed and the daylight make them visible. Hate it

What if they grow from a mole? For extra hagness
Is the treatment the same?

RockandRollsuicide · 25/07/2022 14:21

@ChinBristles

Thank you!

I don't have many, not enough to shave but definitelyenough to notice!

I'm thrilled!!

So I pluck it out then put the cream on. Have you noticed what happens if you forget to use it?

It doesn't encourage bamboo vigour re growth??

ChinBristles · 25/07/2022 17:46

@RockandRollsuicide if I forget to apply the cream for say a week, the hairs start to grow back but not at full strength. Presumably they would eventually grow back normally. No, thing in the world can make hair grow faster/thicker, much to the dismay of balding men everywhere!

Obvs the cream takes a few weeks to start working so keep plucking in the meantime.

Maybe by the time I'm 90, they will have sorted a laser that you just get done over whole face/body whatever once when you are 16. Like piercing your ears.

Let me know how you get on! I'd not heard of many other people using it which really surprises me! I'm usually the only person on these chin threads who mentions this cream!

@TikTokCat I use vaniqua on a hairy mole. It works fine. Pretty sure it's not advised but fuck it, I've done worse* to myself and lived to tell the tale.
