Just really don't like them
Don't like the feel and really dislike the smell (bit sensitive to smells atm) and can't stand the thought of another 20 years of them

I like not sleeping in wet patches

You could try tesco bags but I reckon they'd be noisy. Not too smelly though.

ZippiBabes · 18/01/2008 14:41

why twenty years of them? crikey i wouldn't fsncy that either

TheMuppetMuggle · 18/01/2008 14:41

I don't like them either but we just get on with it!!!
as i'm like frumpy don't like sleeping in wet patches

marymoocow · 18/01/2008 14:41

I'm not keen either, but until dh finally makes that appointment with the doctor..........

Maidamess · 18/01/2008 14:42

Get thee partner to the vasectomy clinic. Tell him his dongle will grow by 2 inches once he's had it done.

JingleyJen · 18/01/2008 14:43

I don't like them and if I am honest it is a big reason why we don't dtd much any more.
When we are finished having children Dh has agreed that he will have a vasectomy so that will be better.

Tanee58 · 18/01/2008 14:43

Hated them. Very glad I'm through 'the change' and in a stable relationship, so we could throw our old stock away .

Tortington · 18/01/2008 14:44

get tubes tied -or get on with

TheYoungVisiter · 18/01/2008 14:44

well there are other options...?

I agree condoms are a pain in some ways, but having just gone back to sex without them I realised I'd forgotten the delights of damp sheets and soggy knickers the next day. Blurg.

TLO · 18/01/2008 14:46

I must admit, I love condoms, love the fuck 'n' go about them

Though will add I am happily married so it is only fuck on living room floor and go to bed!

frumpygrumpy · 18/01/2008 14:48

Really, the only bit thats awful is the "ok I'll just lie here calmly and just pretend everything is normal and I'm not raging with horniness and will you pleeeease hurry up" bit. And also the bit after that bit where you have to get back to the assumed position.

Other than that, I love dry sheets (and dry pants later) LMAO!

ZippiBabes · 18/01/2008 14:48

i've never really experienced them much at all and i think it is about the worst thing of having new partners..

Nymphadora · 18/01/2008 14:54

Oh and I forgot the waiting to get it on thing too [grr]

Am stuck with condoms until one of us has something more permanent done or until I go through menopause hence the 20 years.

Slightly in limbo atm as newish relationship and not 100% sure of no more kids .

Just really narky atm and have decided that I am blaming condoms

OP posts:
Nymphadora · 18/01/2008 14:57

oh ans I hate the word CONDOM just doesn't flow right

Shit I am narky

OP posts:
frumpygrumpy · 18/01/2008 14:57

I don't mind the new partner thing. Its a good way of getting over the newness and the discomfort of being laid bare, as it were

frumpygrumpy · 18/01/2008 14:58

Nymphadora, why don't you stop blaming the condoms and get it off your chest why you are feeling narky........

frumpygrumpy · 18/01/2008 14:59

Have you tried putting it on for him?

Nymphadora · 18/01/2008 15:00

I'm not keen on them either. My ex H had had a vasectomy, but I am now with someone who doesn't have children of his own, so back to contraception!
Used them when we first got together & didn't like them. I am now on the pill.

dustbuster · 18/01/2008 17:29

Chequers, my partner is the same. Think it's quite common? Or am I deluding myself?

helenhismadwife · 18/01/2008 21:45

I have heard some teenagers use mars bar wrappers (or other choccy bars) nicer smell not sure about the protect and prevention quality of them though
