Best Adverts Ever

Inspired by the thread about the worst ones. I often lament the loss of the great adverts of the late 80s and 90s. I loved the sunkist one, the Wrigley's spearmint one, hamlet, the one where Henry looks a big girls blouse in portia's prize for the cat food add. BT ology add with Maureen Lipman, the fly fishing book one and the yellow pages house trashed at a party one. Budweiser ones with the whatever creatures they were. I'm ill with a bad infection so please cheer me up with your memories of great adds.

Levi’s 501 with Nick Kamen

I absolutely loved the Levi advert with the spaceman soundtrack from the 90s

Oooh yea the papa Nicole ones. Gold blend too. And who could fidget the Levi's in the laundromat??

Adverts these days are shite.

Anyone remember the keep Mrs Jones in a job: wear a condom? Durex advert in the early 90s. It came on over new year when I was staying with my boyfriend and his parents. I was mortified.

Oh, and the BA one with the Flower Duet playing in the background - all those tearful airport reunions !

I loved the egg.com one with the guinea pigs going about their day, shopping, working, going to the gym etc

• Some alcohol advert where they are all playing football/rugby - ‘well I pass the ball to Jim, that’s the last we see of him, now my way is blocked by a wall called Bruce, it’s hard to sell a dummy with a bloke around your tummy. Can't remember which store it was, John lewis I think but the one with the dog, foxes and other wildlife jumping on the trampoline.

I loved the Gold Blend story ads, especially as Anthony Head is so attractive but not arrogant or sleazy.

Just remembered another - ‘I want to be a tomato’ - some kind of insurance ad?

The Heineken adverts back in the 80s - the water in Majorca don’t taste like what it oughta.

Me And my dd love the just eat Katy Perry ad with the dancing ice creams, also the ones with the cats driving can't remember what it's for.

The Honda ones were very good - especially the one which was a bit like a domino run flowing from one to another
