Friend won't confirm my ID for passport...

I've lost my old passport.
I need someone to confirm my ID
My friend of 20 years is a nurse and I asked her and she said no problem.
So two weeks ago I applied online for my replacement and put her email address in etc
Two weeks later she still hasn't confirmed my ID

I sent her a message asking her if she had done it yet a week later ..
And she said "oh totally forgot,will do it tonight"
Then last night I text her and she said the same thing.

I'm going to Australia in 3 months and I'm terrified it won't be back in time.
Aibu to be annoyed that she can't just do it if she said she would ..I could of just asked someone else.

She’s prob just crap with admin - call her and tell her you’re panicking.

I would find another person to help
you as you could be waiting forever. Good luck.

Or you could at least read OPs updates that's it's been done and approved

Aww that's shit OP. My friend asked last week if I'd confirm ID for her little boy getting his first passport. I did it within an hour of it being sent through and it took about 5 minutes! Can you ask someone else to do it?

It could still be a while before you get your new one. It was about 8 weeks after approval that we got my daughter's one back this time last year (so we missed out holiday ☹ )

It is quite reasonable to expect you to read the whole thread before posting. Or at the very least the OPs posts.

Otherwise you are saying my opinion is so important that it doesn't matter if it is relevant.
