Left the window open 😭

Hubby and I had a little tiff - he paid a compliment to our gorgeous, 2 decades younger dinner guest and it didn’t sit well with me.

Anyway married couple left, short argument started between us and it turned into what I think was the best sex of my life. But as the title says I left the window open (didn’t think to check behind the curtain) and I’m pretty sure we now have to move. I read a thread about naughty neighbours not too long ago, wondered who puts on such a show for their entire street and now it happened to us 😭😭😭

How on earth can I ever leave the house again?

I'd be more embarrassed to have a partner who complimented much younger women in a way that made me uncomfortable tbh. At the very least your younger friends would have picked up on the tension between you, and at the worst it didn't sit right with them either, and they may think your husband is a lechy old man.
I'd concentrate on setting some shared ground rules for your public behaviour as a couple rather than bragging about your private behaviour.

YankeeDad · 10/07/2022 09:29

Here is the bigger problem, OP: if I were your husband, after a scene like that, I might be tempted to compliment other young dinner guests, even if I had no interest in them at all ...

I would be more concerned they heard the argument. They now know how insecure you are around a younger woman.

I did think last night I shouldn’t post because MN can be ridiculously and unnecessarily mean.

My husband asked the beautiful young lady if she’s lost weight (I know!). She mumbled ‘I don’t know’ and he almost interrupted her reply to say that he now runs every day. I’m not even sure if he runs every week, so I must’ve had a little eye roll.

Oh dear, he was peacocking to the Hot Young Guest. How sad!

Here's me, reading your title, thinking you might have been burgled

Same🤣🤣🤣

Idontgiveashitanymore · 10/07/2022 09:38

We can hear our neighbours having sex with the windows closed. If anyone heard you they might have given you a round of applause for having great sex. Seriously enjoy it and don’t worry. Life is to short …

Grimoven · 10/07/2022 09:43

By the sound of the title I thought the budgie had escaped.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 10/07/2022 09:43

Hold your head up high, you've still got it going one.

Have a stern word with your running equivalent of MAMIL and tell him no attractive young woman would want to go there. Or some patronising equivalent. Might be slightly biased as I had similar ishoo with MAMIL XH. Note the XH. This wasn't the only reason, but was part of why I returned him to the shop, having kept the receipt.

cottagegardenflower · 10/07/2022 09:45

Keep a low profile for a couple of weeks before you look your neighbors in the eye again. Embarrassing but not dreadful.

IrisVersicolor · 10/07/2022 09:50

I thought it was going to be an indoor cat has got out thread.

Rosessmelllike · 10/07/2022 09:57

Oh gosh. This has me cringing on your behalf.

BeggarsMeddle · 10/07/2022 10:27

Neighbours might have heard but it happens and unless there was anything truly exceptional about the sound effects it's unlikely to be the talk of the close for years to come.

Was there a lot of Whip-crack-Away-ing and neighing?

NotQuiteUsual · 10/07/2022 10:34

You remember the pandemic doorstep clapping? Me and DH once finished a particularly fantastic session to an 8pm round of applause.. in the front room of our small terrace on a tiny single lane row of terraces, with the window wide open.

We moved house.

He defo was

That’s what I thought too

Wickywickyyow · 10/07/2022 03:55

Let's hope the husband wasn't thinking of the attractive younger friend whilst shagging you

That’s what I was thinking …..

dawngreen · 10/07/2022 11:29

People have fantasies be it models, tv stars, people they see on the street. Its harmless unless they try to follow it through.

SoupDragon · 10/07/2022 11:47

Why do people feel the need to bring the OP down by being spiteful? Do you think it helps at all?

WhileMyGuitarGentlyWeeps · 10/07/2022 12:21

🙄

ManateeFair · 10/07/2022 12:31

Moonchair1 · 10/07/2022 08:51

@Wickywickyyow I thought this
he defo was thinking of the younger women, I wouldn’t have had sex just after he complimented someone else…. Strange, I would feel used

My god, there’s some bitter people on this thread. What sort of a shrivelled-up life does someone have to leave to a) be annoyed that someone had a top shag and b) be incapable of imagining how a bit of a row could result in incredible make-it-up sex?

OP, I had no idea people were meant to close the window before sex. It’s never really occurred to me! I reckon you’re all good. At most there will have been a “I’ll have what she’s having” comment or two.

AbreathofFrenchair · 10/07/2022 17:44

I'm currently laughing at the posters attempting to berate others for being nasty/sarky whilst leaving nasty/sarky messages themselves 😂

I'm neither bitter nor shrivelled up, what an absolutely ridiculous comment 😂😂

Nothing wrong with make up sex, I'm glad she had great sex. Sounds like you could do with some.

What's weird is that they had an argument over comments the poster found unacceptable or left her feeling uncomfortable. He made unwanted comments to a woman 20 years his junior and also made her feel uncomfortable and she was still able to have sex with him.

His comments would give me the ick personally. I've no idea why her husband thinks someone 20 years younger needs to hear his comments about her appearance.
