I do have an iPhone but I just like pen and paper, is anyone the same?

I keep work and personal appointments in the same planner; it helps me keep my day/week pictured in my head, which is important to me. I have separate sections in my paper planner for work and personal tasks and to do lists. These are all duplicated to an extent in my digital calendar, which is especially useful for reminders, but there is a huge psychological benefit to me to write things down and touch pen and paper.

I have my teacher planner and also Filofax. Plus a family calendar on the wall. Couldn't cope without them!

I like a mix of gel ink pen, nice pencil (Palomino Blackwing if I can get one, if not Ticonderoga) and pastel highlighters. Also lots of post-its. I use post-its for things that I will want to move to other pages, so things like weekly cleaning routines, exercises, tasks for the month ahead, useful repeating lists etc. Also shopping lists.

Does anyone combine a work and home planner?

I can't really. I'm a teacher (starting full time in September after a long hiatus) and I will have a teacher's planner with lesson plans, kids' marks etc. Not room for all that in my bullet journal and anyway it wouldn't work well because of what I'd need/want to show other people vs what would need to be confidential!

It makes me wonder how much I'll really use my bullet journal from September though. I've worked as a self-employed, peripatetic and supply teacher for some years, and scheduled all my teaching slots in the journal, (lesson plans done on my laptop).

Lots of teachers do all their planning and recording of marks digitally now, but I'm hoping some at my new school still use planners! Dh thinks I'm a dinosaur Grin

I just can't do my planning digitally. I will do a rough plan for the team on the shared drive and so the head can have to access them, but all my notes and observations are in my teaching agenda.

I have a personal one for family but I do note rdv in the teaching journal to prevent any cross over with parent meetings etc
