To tell the woman in the car in front to turn her engine off?

Sat in the car waiting for DS. Residential street. Woman in front has been idling her car for the past 10 minutes. Presumably for the air con. We're right next to peoples gardens. I really want her to turn it off. So selfish. Shall I?

It's so annoying. I can just about understand stinking diesel fumes in the winter, but the summer? I wouldn't say anything but I'm a coward.

We’ve all had non sleeping babies never felt the need to sit in a car with the engine running like an absolute prat.

Wow ok 😂 people on here can be so bitchy! I’ve just admitted that I’m in the wrong and will no longer do it, so no need to be so rude.

Car drivers often live in their own little bubble

I think dontcallmecarrots deserves a break admitting she wasn't aware of the damage or social responsibility involved in running an engine.

There are lots of eye opening things on MN that is what makes it interesting.

My moto is "when you know better, be better".

dontcallmecarrots has said it won't happen again. 🙂

It's a bit odd that people can't work it out for themselves, that it is not a great thing to do, that's what I mean by car drivers living in their own bubble, they don't want to think about the impact they have in general
