Women are being attacked, again. A long standing publishing company, Verso Books, has decided women should be referred to as womb carriers. Can it get any worse? Will try and provide a link.

@Callingoccupants Bit much to call me ridiculous. I didn’t deny it had happened, I asked to see more info before commenting: you provided a daily Mail link and I simply said I wasn’t clicking that!

Just because it's in the Daily Mail, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. The DM extracted tweets commenting on how disgusted ppl are. I'd say the increasing denigration of women is too important an issue to argue over one of its reported sources.

Do you know, years of women standing up for themselves and their rights as women for women, present and future, is still being held in the grip of the patriarchy as this issue clearly demonstrates.
The jealousy and bitterness of those who demand that words such as woman, women and mother be consigned to the dustbin knows no bounds, and those jealous, bitter people just happen to have been born a male.
Until us women stand together and say enough is enough, we're not putting up with this eradication any longer, then it will continue and not only will it continue, but it will get worse.
In a generation or two, the women of the future will be back to dancing to the tune of man.
Think it can't happen? Take a damned good look at what's happening today.
Women's spaces being taken to include men.
Women's sports being played by men.
Women being referred to in a derogatory manner by being called womb carriers and such like, and it is derogatory as far as I'm concerned.
Is this the world you want for your daughter's and granddaughters? If it is, then carry on participating in this ridiculous notion.
If it's not then make a stand today and challenge it every single time.
If you're pregnant and you're referred to as a pregnant person, challenge it and tell them you're not a pregnant person, you're a pregnant woman.
For the sake of women in the future, challenge it today.
