£500 for one of the escorts to go to a pub lunch with a client, no intercourse involved.
2 young women in their 20s, who can make 6 grand a week.
I would never do it, but when you work full time hours and they make in 1 week what I make in 3 months. Or what some people would make in 6.
Still, they claim to love it on the show but who knows what it's really like. They may get taken advantage of a lot.

Has anybody watched the show? Or know anybody that's done this?

I've known a few escorts. It was (and probably still is) common for 20-somethings studying in London to make cash escorting. They all had sex with their clients. All of them.

I watched a documentary about male escorts. It could not find one single man who did not also have sex with men for money. The men they interviewed said there were very few women who would pay. Most of their money came from men.

Male escorts who make money have sex with men. There might be the very occasional male escort who is essentially an actor who goes to events with women. Most of the agencies advertising male escorts for sex with women just scam the men, very like the child modelling websites - men pay a fee for photos and to be featured and expect to get work when it simply doesn’t exist.

@Norgie do you genuinely believe this man is being paid to go on dates with women? Enough to earn a living? I knew a couple of ex Hollyoaks/ Doctors level actors - well known enough to still be occasionally recognised, handsome as hell and professionally charming who we did have on our books at the agency (central London agency, top 3 in the country when I worked there 2006-9). They would get maybe 1 or 2 bookings a month, occasionally a long weekend or holiday away and unless they were incredibly frugal they could not support themselves on that.

Your mate is either sleeping with men for money or has some other income that he’s passing off as him earning it as an escort.

And those men I did mention were fully expected to have sex with the women if they wanted. They didn’t always want that, certainly not to the same level that men did, but it was always accepted that it was part of the deal.

Oh, if he’s doing it for himself does he have a massive social media platform? There are a couple of guys with huge social media presence from podcasts/ TikToks/ insta that are also making a lot of money from paid “dates”. That’s strictly no sex but it’s not really considered escorting.

I remember the agency once had a booking from a new client that asked for 3 girls to attend a party he was throwing. He tried to negotiate on price on the basis no one was going to have sex, he just wanted them there as naked waitresses. There could never be a discount even if the agency wanted as legally the men pay for time and companionship only. The girls were there for 4 hours and expected to stand entirely still except when the men came up to them for a drink from the bottle they were holding. Next to the girls were a variety of clamps, whips and sex toys that the men used on the girls whenever they passed. All 3 girls were utterly traumatised and it was the event that finally made me realise how disgusting the industry was.

I am absolutely ashamed for my part in it and over a decade on I’m still dealing with the fall out. If you’d seen me while I was escorting or working for the agency you’d think I was completely happy, and at the time I genuinely thought I was. These documentaries are so, so harmful and make naive young women genuinely believe they can earn money by having a nice meal with a lonely man when it is so, so far from that.

I’m not doubting what you’ve been told I just really hope you are not trusting this man in other ways if he is genuinely trying to convince you that he’s making a living as a male escort who only sees women but doesn’t have sex with them. It’s such a delusional thing to try and convince a friend that you are doing that it strongly hints at much deeper issues

One place I was sent to work used the "You'll be paid to have dinner" shite on young girls who hadn't done the job before. And then sent them to gangbangs for their first ever job. The owner would set the gangbangs up for him and his friends.
Imagine being 18, thinking you're getting £200 for an hour's chat with a man, and being faced with five men all waiting to fuck you at the same time. One of them being the man who told you it was just talking and dinner.
And your £200 is shared between you, the man who drove you, the boss and the receptionist, so you take home £40 of it.
These girls wouldn't have condoms with them or anything. They might only have had one teenaged boyfriend before. And then they're in a locked room with five 40+ year old men.
