I have just read this story, and I cannot get to grips with how badly this girl was let down. A 12 year old walks into a police station suspected to be drunk and they send her away?!? I don't even know what the AIBU is, other than needing to talk about it, I guess.

Take a look again at the Rotherham report, OP, revisit the circumstances of this particular case and you'll see only too clearly that it's no surprise at all

Its horrific, isn't it? I cannot understand why there isn't more outrage about this in the media to be honest. We get wall to wall coverage of topics, but this is barely reported :(
