I mean what in Gods name was her husband thinking of?? I guess all of us that have been in the same boat can completely be in solidarity. However I always figured being her would be at least a bit of protection against your husband cheating with a 20 year old

Attraction is linked to looks and success, long term relationship are about mutual respect and understanding. Ancient Greeks called long term love Pragma. Which I think makes a lot of sense.

Whether that’s not being beautiful enough, or daring to put on weight, or having the audacity to (gasp) age, or not providing the sexual services that she owes her male partner.

Stunning women get cheated on all the time. If anything I think they get cheated on more often because they often end up with men who value women only for their looks.

Your first mistake op was thinking that Shakira is somehow better than the rest of us. She’s not. She’s a completely ordinary person to her inner circle. The celebrity thing is not real life…..

Physically very attractive people get cheated on all the time, and physically attractive/very good looking couples split up all the time too.

Weirdly, some of the most solid couples I know (who have been married/ together 25-30+ years,) are not super-glam supermodels. Some are quite plain, and some are quite overweight.

The ones who are 'typically' physically attractive (what society deems as physically attractive anyway,) seem to go from one shitty failed relationship to another. And I know a few women, who were classed as the 'pretty ones' at school, and when they were younger, and were super popular with the boys, who are now middle aged and single with 2 or 3 kids from different dads. And as I said, not one single successful relationship - ever.

In addition, their looks are pretty much faded, and they're constantly desperately searching internet dating sites for a daddy for their kids a man. Whilst the (supposedly) less attractive/less fit and glamourous people are very happy and still with the person they met 25-30 years ago.

So it's bollocks that more attractive people will get - or actually DESERVE - a successful relationship,

I mean not ALL the physically attractive people have shitty/failed relationships, but plenty do, and more 'not conventionally attractive' people seem tom have better success somehow.
