Eh?

TheNoodlesIncident · 15/06/2022 14:47

My first thought was Freddie

But really, Douglas Adams. At least Sir Terry, bless him, got more time and chance to write lots. So much potentially lost from Douglas Adams Sad

But there are so many others who are sorely missed.

Chemenger · 15/06/2022 14:50

If we can have more than one I would add David Bowie, Alan Rickman and Terry Wogan.

StEthelburgaRose · 15/06/2022 14:54

Caroline Aherne. I'm sorry that there won't be any more of her comedy. I thought it was genius

Badbadbunny · 15/06/2022 14:54

Karen Carpenter.

Andy Gibb (in fact all the Gibb brothers back together!)

girlmom21 · 15/06/2022 14:55

Mimilamore · 15/06/2022 14:06

Jeremy Hardy and Sean Locke

I forgot Sean Locke had died 😔

Another vote for Alan Rickman too.

Goldencarp · 15/06/2022 14:56

Caroline Flack
nit a celeb I know but Princess Dianna

MzHz · 15/06/2022 14:56

paisley256 · 15/06/2022 13:51

Prince

Me too. I tell him every time I hear one of his tracks “you should still be here”

:(

Badbadbunny · 15/06/2022 14:56

Joan Rivers - a "proper" comedian, not like the modern sarcastic/abusive ones.

Puppylucky · 15/06/2022 13:47

Bowie

@Puppylucky

Agree re Bowie, I said the other day God I miss Bowie, DS (21) replied Mother that comment is utterly superfluous WE KNOW you cried for a week, all day every day.Grin

Then he added, when Springsteen dies I am booking a holiday in space. GrinGrin

DownNative · 15/06/2022 15:02

Michael Jackson
Bruce Lee

And, if we're counting non-celebrities:

Albert Einstein
Leonardo Da Vinci

Libre2 · 15/06/2022 15:04

Maggie, in her prime, to kick out the bellend we have in charge. I realise this will not be a popular choice and whilst I don’t agree with everything she did, I fully believe she had integrity, which is sorely lacking in politics at the moment.

MrsBrianODriscoll · 15/06/2022 15:05

@Libre2

It grieves me to agree with you, but I do.

AmberGer · 15/06/2022 15:10

Came here to say Sean Lock too.
Luckily, I got to see him on one of his tours. Funniest comedian ever!
Never laughed so much in my whole life.

LINABE · 15/06/2022 15:10

George Michael and Prince. Talented beyond measure. A massive, massive loss.

iloveeverykindofcat · 15/06/2022 15:10

Richie Edwards. I remember James Dean Bradfield saying once how he wished Richie had lived to see Twitter. He would have annhiliated everyone in single sentences.

Only if he wanted to though.

alfagirl73 · 15/06/2022 15:13

Freddie Mercury - without a doubt.

Jezt · 15/06/2022 15:14

Sean Locke.

Itawapuddytat · 15/06/2022 15:20

Carrie Fisher.

If I could get one more, Alan Rickman
