Pets seeing you naked.

I was talking to a friend about sleeping with nothing on in the hot weather. She said she couldn't do that as the cat would come in the room and see her naked. Made me laugh and think.

Do you let your dogs and cats etc see you naked?

They'd probably think 'pathetic'. Humans pretty extremely weak and soft for a mammal. Not to mention bald.

This is hilarious. I honestly can't say it's ever crossed my mind. Do cats even have good enough vision to be able to tell the difference between their owner naked or clothed?

My cat is a ragdoll and completely docile. I frequently cuddle him like a teddy bear while I'm in bed (I often sleep topless if it's hot) and I'm never even concerned about him scractching me. He just wouldn't.

He sometimes puts his paws over my eyes though so maybe he's embarrassed for me!!😆

Our cats snuggle up next to my naked tummy in bed. They don't seem to realise I'm furless!

I sleep in pjs as I’m always cold. The dog will attempt to lick people dry if they’re are coming out the shower so am always keen to get them on.

My poor dog sees me naked all often. She has also been in the room once when me and DP were at it. Never again, she tried to join in. 🙄

When I had a cat I let him see me naked, but it did feel wrong. The dog saw me naked once and looked shocked.

My cat tries to use my knickers as a hammock when they're round my ankles when I'm on the loo. My dignity was lost years ago where my pets are concerned.

Yeah but in fairness, consider how nice the average cat looks naked, then consider how nice the average human looks naked. Same for most mammals really.

Plus the human male genitalia is in a ridiculoulsly vulnerable position. One good kick and its all over for their bloodline. The other mammals probably look at as and think 'call that the superior species?'

My cats see all of us naked- and I never thought to question it! However, one did use to watch me breastfeeding closely. I always wondered if she was hoping for a turn too. I never did. Obviously.

I have a sphynx cat (naked cat) so always wonder when I get out of the shower if he thinks 'wow she's just like me'

Our pets see us naked but I do wonder what they think it is. I can’t work out if they think clothes are fur or clothes are coats.

If they think our clothes are fur, then our ‘fur’ changes colour daily. Sometimes multiple times in a day. Being naked would then just be another fur change. So do they wonder why our fur changes so often? But they have coats and see other dogs wearing coats when it’s cold or rainy. So do they think our clothes are coats and our skin is fur? If that’s the case, they’re probably wondering why we walk around most of the time with a coat on, even when it’s dry and hot.

My cat gives me a look of horror when I take my "fur" off. 😀

Just that they exist, so somewhere someone is watching downloaded cat cams, probably hoping to see nudity and wobbly bits. And that person could be your neighbour….

My cats have to keep an eye on what I'm doing! One sits guard when I'm on the loo... and both of them have to supervise when I'm in the bath. They constantly check I'm okay and haven't drowned!

God, every living thing in my home sees me naked and don't bat an eye. We're a louche household, clearly.

I once woke up to a very disturbing sensation and found the cat had crawled under the covers and started licking me in a very private area...... never again.....

Ah my pets have seen it all and we all sleep naked. They dont seem to mind. I don't remember being able to bath without a furry visitor popping into the bathroom to say hello.

She’s probably just had a shit, thinks you’re her mum and wants you to check it’s clean, and lick it clean if necessary like her mum would do.

My cat accompanies me to the loo, I don’t think seeing my naked bothers her.
