Pets seeing you naked.

I was talking to a friend about sleeping with nothing on in the hot weather. She said she couldn't do that as the cat would come in the room and see her naked. Made me laugh and think.

Do you let your dogs and cats etc see you naked?

My cat looks disapproving when I’m naked. She looks disapproving when I get in the shower. She looks absolutely horrified when I get the Epilator out.

That's hilarious, I suppose my pets don't see me naked much/ever really but that isn't on purpose, they're animals I doubt they give it much thought 😂

Well I certainly don't care about my two dogs seeing me naked but you have to be careful as they are known for trying to "investigate" genitals and one of them actually latched onto my nipple when he was younger and I was sleeping topless 😱

We've had CheenPup for 8 months now and it still feels very weird taking my clothes off in front of him. He seems quite unbothered though, and is also quite happy to sit in front of me while I'm on the loo. He also likes a good sniff of the toilet afterwards which I find disgusting, but hey, he drinks dirty puddle water and eats horse poo if I don't get to him in time and licks his own nethers, so I think his standards of hygiene are generally quite low.

Your friend is crazy.

Even dh has to cover up around dcat because she doesn't understand that athough he seems to have nipples nothing comes out. Think she left her mother too early, would explain a lot of things.

Wow, I thought I was alone in having a cat who showered with me!

One of mine follows me everywhere , and used to cry and scratch at the shower door when I was showering. So one day I opened the door and said, 'well you can come in, but you won't like it'.

He did like it.

Yep, mine always jumps up on the dining table, or the patio table (usually when I'm eating,) and shoves her arse in my face. WTF is THAT about?

It is so unnerving! Once a few weeks after we got we didn’t realise she had hopped on the bed until we had finished. We knew she was underneath asleep but clearly we woke her up 😳DH whispered I think the cat is on the bed, we turn our heads and there she is curled up on his pillow, big green eyes judging us.

So that's why cheddar puts her paws on the side of the bath and yowls. It's the sight of me naked that upsets her.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Doesn't bother me, but the cat did come in when me and DH were shagging once. Put us right off it did. We just collapsed with laughter as she titled her head and just watched. TMI sorry

My cat sees me naked and I've never thought about that BUT...there is a spider that lives in the bathroom light fitting, it always comes out when I'm in the shower and I think it's a pervert!

So I googled it. Can't see anything untoward. What am I looking for/expecting to see?

come to think of it I remember years ago a friend telling me how she’d gone to sleep naked and spread eagled in hot weather and was woken very rudely by the kitten in the middle of the night which had noticed a string - er -hanging down from somewhere intimate and had pounced…

I always put my dog in his basket (in my room) and then get changed for bed. He watches me every night. He never comments though.

My cats have seen it all!
I have one cat who is a bathcat so she has definitely seen me naked.
One who is hand reared so he follows me everywhere and particularly enjoys a shower and a sink wash, he also sleeps with us.
All the cats seem irresistibly attracted to me going to the loo, as soon as I stand up even thinking of heading that way they materialise. (As do the kids tbf, it seems to result in anything from 1-4 cats, up to 2 dogs all trying to squeeze in and 2 children all yelling something at the door that just must be discussed right NOW!)

My cats gladly lick their arses in front of company. They don't care about nudity.

They also don't care about jumping onto the end of the bed and falling asleep when DH and I are having sex.

Even if they were to care about what they saw (which they don't) - they can't tell anyone.

Sometimes I wobble my belly at my cat as I walk past to the shower. I don’t know why I do it. I also make a turkey noise as I do it blubabababa etc 😂

Doesn't bother me though I am more reluctant if we have a puppy... those sharp puppy teefs, ouch!

Beyond the 'There are bits of me i do not want sniffed/licked/bitten by anyone non-human' issue though, I initially thought 'yeah, no, not an issue why would it be...'

And then thought.. um.. if its someone ELSES pet.. then I feel a bit weird about that.

Hasn't happened often but I dogsat a friends dogs years ago and definitely felt a bit odd about her three huge GSD watching me get out the shower and go to the bedroom... and on holiday recently, best mates little fuzzypuppy came into the room whilst I was getting dressed and that felt a bit 'odd'..

For no good reason because what are they going to do.. tell their owner 'I have seen things that cannot be unseen!'... ask for therapy?

My cat used to really like to sit on the bathmat after I had a shower and help me to get dry. And she sits on my knee while I go to the toilet sometimes, but not for pooing. That would be weird and wrong.
