I didn't realise until this morning that the "footman" was also Garfunkel Dirt Shark (Detectorists fans will understand )

Zelensky did Paddington's voice for the films in Ukraine.
I thought I recognized the footman from the Detectorists sit com! I loved that show.
How did they all keep it a secret? Must have been a few people involved in it!

@Schmz kings mill 50:50 lasts ages so would be perfect for emergencies.

I think that if she hadn't been the Queen she may have become a horse trainer , but she acted well in this little sketch and it can't have been easy to act in front of a green screen etc.
I wonder how they kept it out of the press.

When the Queen pulls her sandwich out and Paddington does this soft "Oh" like OF COURSE the Queen has a marmalade sandwich in her bag!!

I thought it also showed the loneliness and isolation she must experience, the way the camera panned away from her in that large room was quite sad. Vulnerability and illness comes to us all regardless of wealth.

She reminds me of my dear, sweet late Granny, who had the same mischievous smile and glint in her eye.

I thought it was fabulous. She looked to me like she had a whale of a time filming it.

I don't like the bear, because he looks wrong. The Paddington in my head is much better.

I loved the books though. My granny bought me the first 4 as a boxed set for my 6th birthday. I read them back to back and, according to my late DM, only stopped reading them to eat and sleep.

Aww, loved it too. It was my favourite sketch of the night. Reinforces the idea the Queen has a great sense of humour. Just a shame we haven't seen more of it over the years.
