Too many holidays?

I love to holiday. DH does too but thinks we do too many abroad and staycations. I like to go abroad about 4 times a year and the same amount of staycations if not more.

AIBU to want to holiday so much?

I don’t fret about climate change at all. It will be what it will be!

Pre pandemic we went on 4 abroad holidays a year. If you can afford it why not? Both work for ourselves so not limited by limited holiday days off work and kids have crazy long holidays as at private school. We also have a holiday home in UK and go there often. Personally life / work is so full on that we only feel like we relax properly / get family time when we are not at home.

What has been your favourite destinations? And types of holidays? E.g. ski/beach holiday.

How on earth can that be unreasonable if that’s what you want to do and you can accommodate it with your current life.

If Your DP resolutely doesn’t want to go, and you insist, then yes, that’s a problem.

But otherwise, holiday away and have a great time.

Ha ha ha at the suggestion teachers can afford this type of life!
