Me, I’m struggling to drop off, perhaps because it’s full moon 🌕 but may also be because of the long afternoon nap I had

It's coming up to a year since my dad passed away and I've been feeling out of sorts.

And in my late night wanderings through t'internet I've discovered something about a guy I had a long distance 'situationship' with during the pandemic which is not a massive deal from my POV but has set off a little WFT loop in my brain nonetheless.

Dearmariacountmein · 16/05/2022 01:40

Anxiety and racing thoughts. The kind that seem all surmountable in the middle of the night but absolutely fine in the light of day.

MissPeregrinesHome · 16/05/2022 01:43

WARM

My M.E and Fibromyalgia are playing up with a side-serve of arthritis. Also super worried about blood test results - rheumatoid (rather than osteo) arthritis, lupus, myasthenia gravis and type 1 diabetes are all potentially on the cards and I tick so many symptoms and have family history. Shitting myself.

EveSix · 16/05/2022 01:51

Planning for my class tomorrow.

Chocolatethief · 16/05/2022 01:52

I have first smear test in the morning and can't stop panicking about it, I'm debating cancelling because I shouldn't keep crying about a medical exam

Magnolia08 · 16/05/2022 01:53

Anxiety, I've increased my hours at work and I'm not coping. Insomnia has returned and I'm worrying about a conversation tomorrow at work where I may need to ask to reduce them. I think it's either that or I'll end up going off sick.

Babymamma192 · 16/05/2022 01:53

Im in a+e with my poorly dd she had a cold and now today has been struggling to breath! They have given her nebulisers and we have been given a room with a bed so at least shes comfy!

Been up since 6am so almost done an all nighter.....not done that since i was a teenager 🤣

MissPeregrinesHome · 16/05/2022 01:55

@Chocolatethief do please go..it's not as bad as all that, and will be over so quickly. Good luck. Wear a long skirt!

What is it that's s a ring you?

SleepingStandingUp · 16/05/2022 01:57

My sisters Dad died tonight unexpectedly and she sunk a bite of whiskey to numb herself so we've been up making sure she doesn't pass out and vomit in her sleep. Finally home and feel guilty for going to bed like life is normal.

Tabitha888 · 16/05/2022 01:58

2am now... got a newborn so what's sleep 😂🥹

Unfortunately I don't own any skirts and I know I should and will do my best not to cancel, I made it worse foryself by googleing what happens at one and then searched smear test on here. Not the wisest idea seen as people don't post about how smoothly it went obviously.

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 16/05/2022 02:00

I‘m in a part of Canada that is 7 hours behind.

CrannyFadock · 16/05/2022 02:05

I went to sleep at 9pm as I was so tired after a very early start on Sunday morning. Awake at 12.30. Insomnia sucks :(

Dee03 · 16/05/2022 02:11

I'm at work until 8am....

I'm so sorry. This is horrific and sad and I hope you sleep and your sister is ok. Flowers

MrsLargeEmbodied · 16/05/2022 02:19

and now the fan is too noisy

LillyMac500 · 16/05/2022 02:20

Does it work?
I’m awake cause my 2 year old is. I’m like the walking dead and am ready to breakdown. Always been a rubbish sleeper and seems to be getting worse.

This should have been a reply to @Evilista re: melatonin 🤪🤦‍♀️

goingpearshaped · 16/05/2022 02:45

Insomnia, stress about work and balancing kids as always. Always me that has to balance and just so fed up of it, just means weekend working to catch up ( once DH no longer working obv). Just feeling so done in, no time to self ever.

Pyewhacket · 16/05/2022 03:15

My husband is away for a week and I've just finished a week of night duty - can't seem to switch off plus I hate it when he's not here.

My youngest daughter came in to keep me company for five minutes but she demanded a cuddle, crept under the covers, and is now fast asleep. She may be 16 but she's still my baby.

Imonaplane · 16/05/2022 03:22

I'm in Florida - we are 5 hours behind so it's 10.21 here.

TheGetaway · 16/05/2022 03:43

Not sure. I have a lot on my mind.
Particularly worried and DM & DD
Annoyed with DBro and really should talk to him but probably a waste of time

@Chocolatethief last time I went the nurse gave me a paper sheet to put over myself so don't worry about the skirt! I find them 'uncomfortable' but I was really surprised by how quick it was - I'd definitely built it up in my mind that it would be longer so that was a relief! Tell the nurse that you're worried and they'll do their best to put you at ease.
