I love the Sam Ryder song and the official video. I think that, if it wasn't for politics, he would have a good chance of being in the top five. Whatever the outcome, I think the video for the song should be used for the 2022 John Lewis Christmas advert 🙂. Whatever the outcome, well done Sam > you're brilliant.

What a smashing night! #2 to Ukraine in 2022 is a brilliant result. I feel really uplifted & glad I watched it tonight. Uk song was great but I love the European solidarity that lifted Ukraine up.

Basically we would have won if Ukraine hadn’t got a sympathy vote for a truly terrible song. Poor Sam was robbed. Ukraine could have farted in the mic and they still would have won.

It wasn't a truly terrible song at all. We liked it in the MiddleAgedSpirit household.

I'd have been pleased they won if UK hadn't been the likely winners if not for current events. Was very impressed with Sam Ryder's performance, he's an amazing singer.

Cds have much better sound quality because the sound is compressed when it's streamed. It's not because we are dinosaurs.
