mehdismummy · 11/01/2008 23:41

what you gonna wait till easter for! Its chocolate for gods sake its for eating not saving!!

Ineedacleaner · 11/01/2008 23:52

NOt at all unreasonable. If they last until easter then you are saving loads cause the prices go up and up until easter so grab a bargain....in fact grab 2 buy double everything keep one set actuall until easter and pig out on the spare set

vixma · 12/01/2008 00:01

No sounds like a bargin, fair play....although depressing as xmas has just finished.

catsmother · 12/01/2008 13:45

Urrgghhh - I hate "bargain" chocolate because I can't resist it and then I stuff myself stupid until I feel sick. Now I know about this, I'm going to find it really hard to resist going into Woolies.

After Xmas, my choccie haul included 5 big boxes of Lindt D'Or for £1.45 each (instead of £6), giant Roses tin for £4.99, 2 tins Quality Street for something ridiculous like £2.50 each, 3 boxes of After Eight for 49p each (!) and several large tubes of Smarties, Revels, Minstrels and M&Ms for 50p each

Hmmm ..... I thought, they're all well in date, will nibble on these until mid-June ....

..... I think there are now only a couple of boxes left and most of it's down to me. I daren't weigh myself.

perpetualworrier · 12/01/2008 14:32

Is £1 for an Easter egg a bargain? Aren't they often 99p and then you see 3 for 2 etc?

hairycaterpillar · 12/01/2008 14:50

These were big flake/choc orange/maltesars/crunchies etc. I think they are usually nearer £3-5 each. They flew off the shelfs. Staff put them out as I entered the shop and by the time I left there were about 2 or 3 left! Obviously I didnt by them all...just 3!
